“PLAYGROUND” (December 20, 2006 to January 21, 2007) is a mixed media exhibition curated by Phoebe Man for Kao Yuan Art Centre at the Kao Yuan University in Kaohsiung, featuring individual works by Justin Wong, Linda Lai, Hector Rodriguez, Ip Yuk-yiu, Phoebe Man, Phil Shek, Leung Po-shan, Kith Tsang, Sara Wong and Ng Tsz-kwan.

致 各天星之友:

收鐘在即,十萬火急;明天中午,到場聲援!

近日天星碼頭和鐘樓已經被竹棚和膠幕重重遮蓋,清拆銅鐘外圍石屎工作進行得如火如荼。據我們了解,鐘樓內的銅鐘,明日便開始拆卸,以便搬往歷史博物館,從此成為陳列展品。

而我們近日找回一份2001年由古物古蹟辦事處委託顧問進行有關天星與皇后碼頭的文物價值研究報告,當中高度評價天星碼頭和鐘樓的文物價值:認為鐘樓是香港的重要地標,顧問建議政府把鐘樓完好遷移,新地點並必須與周遭環境協調。報告可於以下網址下載:http://www.project-see.net/main/heritage_assessmentreport.pdf

但政府最終沒有按建議規劃,令我們對整個諮詢過程大感疑惑。我們正努力游說各黨派人士,促請政府停止清拆天星碼頭和鐘樓,初步已取得近半數議員支持。

今後兩天,將會是決定鐘樓生死的重要時刻。我們一班好友會在明天中午十二時左右開始自各到場,以不同的方式去阻止銅鐘被拆卸!就是每個人能阻他們十五分鐘,不同時段不同人接力去做,加起來還是可以阻得數天!
