誠聘 – 研究及行政助理一名 (全職,一年合約)

國際演藝評論家協會(香港分會)成立於一九九二年,過去多年,本會一直獲得香港藝術發展局的行政資助,會務得以積極發展;為目前本地唯一積極透過籌辦不同種類的評論活動致力推動本地藝評發展,和參與國際會議及海外交流計劃的組織。本會亦十分重視演藝資料和藝評的整存、研究和出版工作,近年的核心出版項目包括「藝術年鑑」系列、「香港戲劇史個案研究出版」系列等;截至二零零九年,已出版超過80套書籍刊物。本會現誠聘以下職位:

研究及行政助理一名 (全職,一年合約)

主要職責及工作範圍:

  • 本會日常行政運作;
  • 本會核心出版項目之研究、編輯及相關行政工作;
  • 協助本會處理宣傳及推廣工作;
  • 間或需要於辦公室以外之其他場地工作
  • 由本會指派之任何工作。

入職條件:

  • 對演藝研究、文字和行政工作有熱誠,並有志從事相關工作者;
  • 曾修讀文化、藝術行政課程,或對演藝文化有認識者更佳;
  • 大學(或同等學歷)或以上之本年或新近三年的畢業生,本年畢業者獲優先考慮;
  • 中文及英文程度良好,對文字、編輯及研究工作熟悉者更佳;
  • 熟悉電腦操作;
  • 為香港永久居民;
  • 必須能夠獨立工作和具良好之組織及人際溝通能力。  

薪酬:港幣八千圓正;另有薪年假。

入職時間:二零零九年十一月,為期一年,首三個月為試用期。

Para/Site Art Space will present Authority As Approximation, a retrospective of time based video works by acclaimed artist Shahzia Sikander.

Exhibition: September 3-30, 2009 // Curator’s talk: 2:00pm, September 6, 2009

Her first solo presentation in China, this exhibition features five video works selected from 2003 to 2008. It is an in-depth study on her research on moving image.

The exhibition includes seminal works like SpiNN (2003), shown in the Venice Biennial Arsenale exhibition, as well as her latest film,
video-essay Bending The Barrels (2008).

Puchon International Student Animation Festival (PISAF) is now calling for entry.

In 1999, PISAF embarked on its journey as the sole student-oriented animation festival in Asia and has gained high reputation for its quality. PISAF has also committed itself to be a venue to introduce animations created by students from home and abroad and to nurture talents and future leaders in the digital culture industry.

The Tokyo Anime Awards are a competition sponsored by the Tokyo International Anime Fair. Two categories: General Categoryand Student Categoryare available for submission.

Outstanding anime works selected by the judges will receive various prizes, including the one-million-yen Grand Prize. The Awards Ceremony will take place during the Tokyo International Anime Fair which will be held from 25 to 28 March 2010. The Competition aims to unearth new talent and provide business support. If you want to be a leading animator, this is a chance you should not miss.

Science Fiction & Fantasy is where Imagination doesn’t just play the game –it makes the rules. Join us. 1.”SFF” stands for “Science-Fiction & Fantasy”. 2. We mean it. 3. We will screen Shorts & Not-Shorts, meaning: 4.To qualify for submission as a “short film”, a work of moving images must be longer than 3 minutes and less than 20 minutes.  5. Anything below 3 minutes may screen with us, out of competition, if it makes us laugh. Or cry. Or something intense.  6. Anything above 20 minutes will be considered in the “Not-Short Film” category.

Prized will be the best soundtrack for a short movie. All entrants must be under 30 years old. All current film and video formats are admitted to the competition. There is a limit on duration, but not on the form, theme or genre of the film. If the selection committee does not accept a film for the competition, it has the option to place the film in one of the extra screenings.

EXGROUND FILMFEST (November 13-22, 2009)

                        - Animations 

Films permitted for submission are those dealing with the theme “Tomorrow we will see”, in accordance with the description of the competition. The length of the film contributions must not exceed 10 minutes. In the case of longer films, an excerpt of up to 10 minutes may be submitted. 

Students, apprentices and graduates from sectors like, e.g. TV, film and media production, media design, animation and multimedia as well as media technology may participate. The competition is also aimed at young professionals and job starters with work experience of up to 2 years.
